AEE - Iraq Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers
AEE is a global nonprofit organization founded in 1977, with more than 17,000 members and 32,000 certified professionals across over 105 countries. The Iraq Chapter was officially established on January 17, 2023, and aims to promote energy efficiency, support sustainable development, and empower national talents in the fields of energy management and renewable energy.
The Iraq Chapter strives to:
Contribute to identifying energy challenges and waste in Iraq and propose practical solutions.
Develop engineers' skills to obtain internationally recognized professional certifications, including 22 certificates, among them the Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
Collaborate with ministries, universities, and national and international organizations to support energy efficiency programs and emission reduction initiatives.
Organize workshops, seminars, and training courses, both in-person and online.
Participate in energy conservation projects and the development of sustainable cities.
The Iraq Chapter welcomes engineers and energy professionals to join its efforts in building a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.
